Designed for Nintendo Switch 2

The MOBAPAD M12 Pro is a split controller designed for Nintendo Switch 2. It combines TMR Glide Joysticks, mechanical controls, MOBAPAD HD2.0 vibration, mouse functionality, NFC, and 9-axis motion sensing for handheld and detached play.

TMR Glide Joysticks

TMR magnetic sensing and a low-friction glide structure provide smooth joystick movement and precise directional input. The contactless sensing design reduces wear within the sensing system, while adjustable joystick dead zones let you tailor input response to your preferences.

OMRON Mechanical ABXY Buttons and D-Pad

OMRON microswitches give the ABXY buttons and D-pad crisp tactile feedback and a defined actuation point. With approximately 1.0 mm of button travel and around 95 gf of actuation force, the controls are designed for responsive input across action, platforming, fighting, and other fast-paced games.

Contoured Split-Grip Design

The shaped grips provide a fuller surface to hold during handheld or detached play. The split layout places the joysticks, face buttons, shoulder controls, and rear buttons around each grip for convenient access.

Mechanical Shoulder Buttons and Triggers

The L/R buttons use TTC switches, while ZL/ZR use TTC microswitches. These mechanical controls provide distinct feedback for shoulder-button and trigger inputs.

MOBAPAD HD2.0 Vibration Feedback

The M12 Pro uses MOBAPAD’s self-developed wide-frequency LRA vibration system. Its varying vibration frequencies are designed to communicate different in-game effects through more detailed tactile feedback.

Vibration effects and supported functions vary by game. MOBAPAD HD2.0 is the manufacturer’s name for its vibration system. 

Mouse Mode for Compatible Games

Mouse functionality provides another way to aim and interact in supported Nintendo Switch 2 games. It expands the controller’s input options beyond buttons, joysticks, and motion sensing.

Supported games, operating procedures, and available mouse functions depend on the game and controller firmware. 

9-Axis Motion Control

The integrated 9-axis motion-sensing system supports motion aiming and movement-based input in compatible games. It provides an additional control option for games that use gyroscopic or motion-based functions.

Motion-control behavior and supported functions vary by game. 

NFC and amiibo Support

A built-in NFC reader near the right joystick supports amiibo scanning in compatible games. Use supported amiibo figures or cards to access the features offered by each game.

Available amiibo functions depend on the game and the amiibo used. 

Handheld, Wireless, and Wired Play

Attach the controllers to the Switch 2 console for handheld gaming, or detach them for wireless play. The M12 Pro supports Bluetooth 5.3 and wired connectivity, giving you several ways to use the controllers with your setup. 

Magnetic Console Attachment

Magnetic rails secure the controllers to the Switch 2 console. MOBAPAD specifies approximately 45 N of magnetic attachment force for the rail system.

Two Customizable Rear Buttons

The M1 and M2 rear buttons provide two additional configurable inputs. Assign supported functions to suit your preferred control layout and keep frequently used actions within reach.

Interchangeable Mechanical D-Pad

Switch between cross-shaped and disc-style D-pad components to suit different games and control preferences. The mechanical directional controls provide tactile feedback for menu navigation, movement, and directional commands.

Zero-Dead-Zone Triggers

The M12 Pro features zero-dead-zone triggers designed for prompt activation. Their mechanical switches provide a defined response for games that use frequent trigger inputs.

Dedicated C Button and Console Wake-Up

A dedicated C button supports access to Switch 2 chat functions. The controller also supports waking the Switch 2 console for convenient everyday use. 

Customizable RGB Logo Lighting

The laser-engraved MOBAPAD logo includes adjustable RGB lighting. Choose your preferred color, use solid illumination, or turn the lighting off to suit your setup.

800 mAh Battery Per Side

Each controller side includes an 800 mAh rechargeable battery. MOBAPAD estimates approximately 18–20 hours of operating time with the vibration motors not operating.

Actual battery life varies with vibration use, lighting, controller settings, wireless conditions, and usage habits. 

Customization Through the MOBAPAD App

The M12 Pro supports the MOBAPAD App on Android and iOS for compatible controller settings and customization.

Use the settings available for your controller to personalize functions such as:
